1918
Barrett’s (a large building product manufacturer) appointed Sanderson as an “Approved Roofer.”
1937
Sanderson Roofing joined with 21 other companies to form the Better Business Bureau of Ottawa-Hull. Today we are a Charter Member of the BBB, with an A+ rating.
1949
We joined the Ottawa Construction Association.
1963
Sanderson helped found the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association.
1963
Sanderson also helped found the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association.
1981
Our president at the time, Lloyd Mann, served as President of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association.
1987
Sanderson Roofing received an award from the Better Business Bureau of Ottawa-Hull.
1988
Donald Mann served as Chairman of the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Safety Committee.
1991
Sanderson Roofing received a 25-year membership award from the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association.

Donald Mann served on the Board of Directors of The Canadian Association of Family Enterprise (Ottawa).

Sanderson Roofing won the Consumer’s Choice Award. This award is based upon independent survey of consumers. Sanderson has won this award 12 times!

Donald Mann served on the Board of Directors of the BBB of Ottawa.
2000
Sanderson Roofing won the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Business Ethics. We are the only roofer to hold this award.
2007
Sanderson Roofing was named to the BBB Honour Roll.
2012
Sanderson Roofing received a 75-year membership award from the BBB. Sanderson was a founding member of the Ottawa BBB and is an Accredited Member with an A+ rating.

Sanderson Roofing was voted Roofing Contractor of 2018 in Ottawa by Top Choice Award.

In 2008, Sanderson Roofing was awarded the prestigious Top Choice Award. This award is determined by an independent survey of Ottawa Consumers. We are the only roofer to have won the award nine times!
VIC WEST SAFETY AWARD
In 1981, we were awarded the “Vic West Safety Award” by the Construction Safety Association of Ontario and the Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association for safe work practices in the roofing industry.
EMPLOYER AWARD
